World Message Page 9 Examine one's own doings, Dedication, be true.
If anyone has read all the references given in this article. One can now see the bottom line. Be a true Christian, (One must live a true life).
1; The New Birth is about conviction and desire from the heart to be right with God. There is a work from above that happens in one's heart. A renewal of spirit accrues a change of direction in one's private life style.
2; Now the struggle in one's private life begins. One must follow Jesus example by reflecting the image of Jesus in one's private life, (Sanctification).
3; The number one thing a new Christian must learn. James 3:6-10, (6). "And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is on fire of hell. (7). For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: (8). But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. (9). Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. (10). Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be." (Matt. 15:11, 18-20, 12:36).
Solution: One's mouth spurts force spiritual harm, but fruit in a true Christian overcome one's nature way. A true Christian's life becomes bowels of mercy and forgiveness. James: 17, 18, (17). But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (18). "And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."
4; One must pursue a time of quietness, a personal relationship with God, private bible reading, prayer, meditation and watching one's self. James 2:12, 13, (12). "So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. (13). For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment."
Note: Mercy triumphs over judgment. Through sanctification one obtains power in this life to bear fruit. James 1:25, "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberity, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." If one is a true Christian then his life should bear fruit. Mercy, forgiveness and obedience in one's private life the image of Christ Jesus, (Its not enough to just know, be a doer!).
Galatians 5:22-24, (22). "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy peace, longsuffering, gentleness, faith, (23). Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (24). And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust." (A life one must attain to on this earth).
One has to see one's self and make sure these traits are prominent in his or her spirit. If one's heart and spirit is clean, then the outside does no harm. Last Word: One should always look at one's self first.

There is a place of REST for the true Christian in this life. (Matt. 11:28). Bottom line is: there is a personal life one must live to get there. If one is obedient and trust God. God is able to protect and keep one at rest. No fear or anxiety. It's all about "Self"? is one welling to give up "Self"? Does one believe God and His promises? Will one receive Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and savior? How does one abide in the Grace of God?
Solution: True Christ like love of God and love toward one's fellowman. One must have a loving, forgiving, merciful heart and spirit (Not human modesty). Watch what comes out of one's mouth and take care what one thinks of other people. Watch one's heart and spirit (Humbleness). It's not about holiness on the outside. True holiness is in that life one lives known only to oneself and to God. If the personal life is not right all other acts lose value. We all know the obvious things on the outside one must put off. However many have not been taught that one must also put off the rottenness in the spirit. (Anger, wrath, malice, slander, foul talk, lying, (idolatry)craving stuff, judging and condemning others, also many otherthings),(Col. 3:8).
Very Plain Talk: Remember the parable about the sower in the field? (Matt. 13:18-23, Mk. 4:13-20, Lk. 8:11-15).
Sower = Preacher, Sowing seed = The Word, The field or ground = people. The good ground = One's heart and spirit. Fruit = Personal holiness.
Many Preachers sow the Word (seed). When one here the Word, how does it affect the hearer? The good ground is in that hearer who believe the Word and seriously consider his or her state before God. One becomes sorrowful and crushed in one's spirit (conviction). One now has a deep desire to be right with God (Godly sorrow). The heart hurts; One may come to tears and feel death is approaching imminently.
What now? The Word said believing on the name of Christ Jesus has the power to save (Acts 4:12).
One cry out from his or her heart, "Christ Jesus have mercy on me a sinner.
Ask that Jesus come into one's life and be his or her Lord. "See Salvation,"
Being born from above is that life changing event that happens in one's heart and spirit.
However one should ponder this sentence carefully. Everyone does not bear the same amount of fruit. Some 30 fold, some 60 fold, and others 100 fold (Mark 4:20). Be true. Just Cal
